xbox username

I've got a xbox 1 with evox installed and for some reason I cant change the user name in it so I can FTP to it. Is there any other way to get in other then FTP to change the username?

why do you need to change the name to get into it?

Boot evolutionx of a bootdisk and FTP in and change the evox ini file with the preferred username and password.

Xbox drives are very picky with the media they use. They seem to be happier with cdr-rw. I use Princo cdr-rw

BTW you have tried the default username and password ? xbox/xbox

yer, I know.... but why do you need to change it... just use the standard setup u/n = xbox; p/w = xbox

The xbox software may have gotten corrupted , I couldn't FTP in to it using xbox as the username and It wouldn't let me change it in the network settings.

I just downloaded a evolutionx boot disk and updated the xbox , worked like a charm , I can FTP in the box again . Thank's for your help guys.
