    Default 3 Long beeps

Howdy, just picked up an old puter from local council rubbish collection. put in tested and working HDD, tried to fire it up and got 3 long beeps, Been Googling like mad, but have come up with not a great deal. Keep coming up with (3270 Keyboard error) Whatever that means?. Tried Different ram, diff video card and diff power supply. Still getting the 3 long beeps. Can anyone shed any light on this?
It is not a matter of urgency, even if this thing goes in the bin i have still scored some ram hehehe
    Thanks in advance
