    Default Lazy headend kids channels?

I'm running a bluey internal dm500 oscam on fox melb. I've noticed, and this has gone on for years, the sync is often off by 1000ms or more on the kids channels - nick jr. disney jr. (formerly playhouse), etc.

Now my kids don't notice it, and never complain but both my wife and I pick it up straight away. A surf of other channels in our sub, are fine.

Are the headend techs just lazy? Can't be bothered checking sync on kids channels, esp. late in the evening, through the night? Sure, we're talking about syncing dialogue to a talking sheep, but ffs a full second lag or more is ridiculous. There's plenty of other points to sync - crashing car, door slamming, whatever.

Is there any chance it could be the dm or my cam? this has gone on for years, also under cccam. I could throw the card in the provider box to confirm a/v sync but would require tearing apart my cabinet and wiring. If it was happening on Bloomberg too, for example, I'd question my setup.

Kids only, makes me think headend boy is lazy.

Pretty much the only reason we keep our sub these days, is the kids package. If fux can't even keep sync straight for 80% or more of the day, I'm ditching the sub.

    Any ideas?

Do you have 'fast zapping' turned off in the menu? If it's on it causes audio lag on satellite. I assume it does also on cable.

I do, Fernbay. That is, I did. Disabled it. Rebooted. Will keep an eye on the sync over the next week and report back. Thanks for the heads-up.

It's been well over a week and I have absolutely no sync issues with 'fast zapping' off. Thank you kindly, Fernbay. Funny how this affects only a few channels within the kids package.

Apologies to any lazy headend techs who may have been offended by my post
