Default Jack Up Power charges day & Meter read

    Uploaded with

I just thought to remind everyone that depending on where you live, Friday July 1 is to be temporarily named 'Jack Up Charges' Day for Gas, Electricity, Water, Transport, etc, etc, etc, etc.
Some lucky Sods with have All while a few (very bloody few) MAY just scrape away with one or two.
I have no doubt those who arent 'Done' today will be suitably 'Done' in the fullness of time.

In keeping with my joyous radiant outburst, I read my meter and could someone confirm what I believe it shows??
Last reading was 41024 and IF I have read this properly, it is now 41568 which is roughly 544 units used to date.
Its about midway between readings so if this continues I will remain under 1500 for the quarter which is about average.
    Thanks

Not really...you will be about $7 worse off:
"The state’s electricity price regulator, the Queensland Competition Authority, has announced a 6.6 per cent increase in power prices from July 1.

The increase will add $120 to the average bill of households already under pressure from an array of cost increases."
