should no be any hassles at all with it working
as long as it is the australian update ie pal you should have no problems
Does anyone know the fromware update that wii fit has ? I think it would be 3.2e ?
I have a Wiikey installed, bought a Wiifit and it's asking for an upgrade with a warning that a modified Wii maybe be rendered useless.
What's the go?

i did the update and it worked fine
Hi Harry88, I assume you have the Aussie Wii Fit? If so there will be no dramas. If you've bought a US or Japanese Wii Fit set off ebay, YOU MUST download the latest firmware from the internet before you put the disc in. DO NOT install the firmware from the disc if it' a non-PAL version.
Aussie PAL kit from the shops works fine for me, I wasn't asked to upgrade firmware as I was already running 3.2E. I have Wiikey version 1.9s running.
no you can usr the update on the disk as long as it is PAL
in your case it is , so the update from disk is fine
did a system update to 3.2e
then the disc update
all good!
WiiFit disk updates to v3.1E. At least it did for me.
Working fine and no dramas
Anyone having any issues with wii fit loading on a console fitted with a wiifree? I often get the game freezeup on loading or the disk just spins on the disk channel screen. I cant only get it to boot up by switching the console off at the mains and trying numerous times. Usually takes betwwen 5 and 10 attempts for it to load up. Pal Wii latest firmaware, wiifree and Pal WiiFit.
Personally - i'd remove the wiifree and test it... (if you are comfortable doing so)
i used an external pic holder thingy
do what bobdo suggest , you could havew a problem with the wii as well , have seen them do funny things like that when the power supply goes wierd
Thanks guys ill give remove the chip and see how she goes, might put in one fo the new chips if its all working good without the wiifree in it. Its one of the launch consoles and has done a few hours by now.
It works with a Wii-free I did about 18 months ago before the Wii-key updates came out. That said I did have a lot of trouble geting the wii to update off the disk. I ended up updating off the net first, then wii fit still wanted to update on that....but then it worked fine.
Was someones I did a a wiifreeby as in freeby next door to me...
Update, they are still having trouble with it, going to put a wii-key in it...doing a bit of research it looks like wiifree does not like wiifit...even the originals
