From a market perspective, the heavier the word that gammas are active, whether true or not, is a potential force for market change. If the payTV operators were to construe that the time and expense involved in continually updating security measures is ostracising potential/current clients then it may hopefully cause some type of shift in their pricing and policies. It happens all the time
The stronger the walls they put up, the harder consumers, and hacksters will push to knock them down. It's one of the coolest things about a capitalist setup

I'm glad there's open discussion on this forum. The true enthusiasts don't care about free TV bur rather the information gained. I pay for my TV but it still doesn't stop me tinkering with the odd card, although I'm still rather green in terms of understanding the technology.
So no censoring please even if there is no doubt Pay TV employees visit this site and others.
