Help me get a PS3

I want a PS3, but convincing the wife is near impossible, she has eased a little and said she will consider it if I can show her that the PS3 has some games she likes.

Now on the PS2 she loved james bond, she loves shooting people, ( I am never leaving her) especially sniper guns and the way Bond moves where all you see is the end of the gun. She also liked the game Black.

Can anyone tell me if the PS3 has any of these sort of games to help me in my quest.

I know she wants to play 'good games', but maybe a selling point could be its a great multimedia center? seems to have a good rep for that??

The PS3 has uncharted series of games. action adventure. you shoot ppl and also have to solve problems. sort of like Indiana jones. Well worth having a ps3 just to play these games.

Also there is Resistance series. fps that you kill aliens. awesome series again.

then Killzone 2 & 3. fps that you kill humanoids. not too bad a game but not the best selling point.

then there are the eye pet, camera games and singstar ones. not for me but some ppl like them.

Then there is the cross platform games that for now are free to play online.

Aside from the above. tell your wife that you will get her a foot massager at same time as you get ps3 and she can massage your feet while you play the ps3. that will either get you one straight away or dead.

Not a simple fix as the aus 60gb version only used software emulation to play old ps2 games. not all games would play. would have to check on the game to see if it was compatible. there was a site (prob still is) that listed all the compatable ps2 games for ps3.

then not all the features of the compat games would work 100%. mates of mine got launch ps3s and were devistated that some of their fav games would not play right and they had to keep their ps2 as well.

also the 60gb versions are old now and prob wouldnt be long before YLOD set in.
