I'm using a 2.3m and just get 3433V 14800. I'm using a dual C/Ku LNB, have a long cable run, diseqc swtich, couple of connections so others could prob get it with better signal/quality level than me.

I did a blindscan with the Azbox (because it's on my C-Band dish) and it didn't find this TP. I decided to try the 980 and it picked up the channels with a blindscan. Sensitivity is marginally better than the Az but the signal is marginal to begin with so a 3M dish would be the go down here.

    Hi Leroy.,
I have a 2.3m dish and back in July I was able to view all the channels on 3433 Ver SR 14800 until it was turned off. How come I cannot pick up these channels now?

Maybe your dish has moved a little? Is it motorised or static? Try to peak your dish and LNB using the VTV transponder 3414 V 9765

My dish is motorised but the motor has not been working for awhile. I can view all channels on 3414 V 9765 with about 70% quality.

My dish is static and never moved. Like montediesel, i can watch all other VTV channels with 69% quality except nothing for 3433 V 14800.
I even manually added TP 3433 V 14800 to my strong box but not received any channels from this TP.
I also have 2.3m dish and living in Perth WA.
If anyone got more info about this TP, please advise. Thanks a lot.

You still might need to tweak your dish. VTV comes in alot stronger.

    Hi Leroy,
My motor is not working as there is an ERROR2 on the positioner. Can I manually move the antenna? Thanks!

I would trying to find out why the error and then you will be able to motor the dish back and forth and hopefully it's still tracking the clarke belt.

But for the excercise, bring up a signal strength and qualiy screen for the VTV transponder and while having someone watch the TV, you can press the top, bottom, left and right sides of the dish to see if the signal increases.

You could also check the LNB skew and focus by taking note of where it is at the moment by making with a texta. You can turn the LNB left or right and also move it in and out. If all fails you can go back to your markings.

But to answer your question, yes you could loosen the braket that holds the actuator.

Thanks Leroy! I'll try your suggestions when I get up on the roof. We've had strong winds the past week in Mel so maybe the dish is out of wack. This could explain why I was able to view all channels on 3433 Ver SR 14800 back in July before the feeds were removed.

Anyone in Perth receive 3433V with HTV Channels at all? If so, how do you get it? What system do you have?

I have 2.3m dish and Strong 4669X DVB-S2 (). I received all VTV channels and VOV but not new HTV channels.

    Thanks a lot in advance.

Is anyone able to get 3433 Ver SR 14800 with 2.3m dish at all in Melbourne? I haven't a got a DVD-S2 box yet and I'm still not sure if I need to spend money on the new box yet until I can be sure that I can get this.

I can barely get it with a 2.3mesh dish. The signal is stronger in the morning.
You should upgrade to a bigger dish.

Can I ask what sat box you are using ? Does it also depend on how sensitive the box is as well ? For example my Magix receiver cannot pickup VTV channels on Vinasat but my strong receiver can.

the most sensitive on the market

With my Azbox I'm getting 64% Strength and 49% quality on 3414V

I find with the Az if a signal is marginal the UltraPlus picks it up that little bit better.

@tvati - Strong receivers generally have had very good tuners with the receivers I've played with in the past.

    Hi everyone,

Just wondering can the SRT 4663X pick up the HTV channels with blind scan? I can only pick up the VTV channels with my SRT 4663X. Even manually enter in the TP frequency 3433 and 14800 did not help. (I know the SRT 4663X only has DVB-S and you would need a DVB-S2 box to be able to watch HTV channels but what about blind scan?).

Does anyone in Adelaide with a 2.3m dish (and DVB-S2 box) be able to watch HTV channels?

What is a good DVB-S2 box and where to purchase?

I am in Adelaide with 2.3m dish and SRT 4663X receiver. Signal strength is about 70% for VTV channels.

    Thanks,

you'll need a DVB-S2 mpeg4 receiver like the ones in my signature for example.

    Thanks LeroyPatrol,

So, a DVB-S receiver doesn’t even pick up the HTV channels with blind scan?

    Cheers.
