    Default Govt Sub VAST installs

Has anyone had or done a VAST install that were paid for either in part or full by any form of Government subsidy since the analog was turned off in their area?
I have a friend in Victoria who got a Terrestial STB supplied at no cost but after reading part of the DTV forums and a comment made that there may be a cost involved to the customer, I was wondering what the situation was regarding VAST now 2 areas are supposedly complete and Rural Qld under way.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

VAST installs under the houshold assistance scheme are different in cost to terrestrial installations.

VAST installations usually require the recipient to pay the installer around $220.00 minimum up front at the time of installation and the subsidy scheme covers the rest.

From the digitalready website re: satellite installations...

The subsidy greatly reduces the cost of getting ready for digital TV by satellite in regional and remote areas. After the subsidy, the payment for installation is expected to be between $200 and $350, depending on your location.
