ZTE V9 speed issue
Hi all.
Very new to Android and the mods and was wondering if my V9 was normal or not. It seems to work but scrolling through menus is jerky and sometimes freezes for a half second, also I have tried several AVI players and all with the same result, the sound is fine but the picture is VERY jerky, not watch-able in fact, I also just tried IGO gps and it works but again jerky menus and map movement, also the voice stutters, if this was a PC Id say it needed more ram, faster cpu or a better video card. My old LG phone plays avi's fine and my ancient asus gps using CE has no trouble with igo so I Guess what I need to know is have I got a lemon or should I be looking at going back to the stock 2.2 android? or possibly is this how they are?? I have a 8 gig card with 7 gig free. It came with cyanogenmod 7.1, I have never had any other os on it.
Many thanks for any comments.

Hi Mate,
I've have 2 of these units and I havent had any speed issues.
I havent tried IGO on it... But I've watched youtube videos, tried angry birds etc...
Came with Stock OPtus android 2.2... Rooted and installed CM7..
It became faster after installing CM7.
I havent put a new card in there yet... Still got the 2gig card it came with...
Do you notice the lag only when you run apps/movie off the MicroSD card?

Hi and sorry for the late reply, I didn't think the unit had enough internal memory to do much, the avi is 700 meg and igo is 300 odd I think but I will see if it can be transferred and let you know.
Cheers.
Update:
Igo is installed on the unit but the maps etc are on the sd card I assume.
