Juno - NASA Jupiter Mission
Looks nice. Hope the liftoff goes ok.
It's a huge planet. It's been mentioned that if Jupiter wasn't where it was, other planets would be worse off. As in that Jupiter has so much gravitational pull, that a lot of asteroids and such get sucked in by teh 'vacume cleaner'.

Jupiter .. iron core, not much unlike the Earth. On top of that a metalic hydrogen mantel.
On top of that a sea of liquid gases, hydrogen, methane, ammonia, carbon dioxide, nitrogen. Up to the gaseous atmosphere which will have the lighter gases like helium and hydrogen.
No doubt it will provide many more hours of entertainment for years to come.

This Mission has the latest of instruments. So hopefully the lauch goes of ok and we get back some good data - confirming - its composition. Hopefully with some surprises!
Going to be fantastic to see real true HD of the clouds swirling.
