Default Mediastar RF or AV in recording? Help pls

Is it possible to run an RF or component output from my sub sat box into my Mediastar 820 and record it? or will it only look at digital signals?
A shame to have it sitting there.

    Thanks

I do not think the mediastar internal digital tuner would tune an analog rf signal, but I am open to any ideas, can you modulate an analog signal to a digital one without half a rack full of equipment?

I once saw a link to a PCI card that could probably do the job, but it was something like a couple of thousand euro.

    In short, forget it.

Good honest little provider, same amount of copious repeats (a worldwide phenomenon if you believe the OS forums) so great for Shift workers too.

If yoo learn to adjust your viewing habits, you will find them quite worthwhile.

Personally, I'd modify the dish install, add a steel 3-way LNB holder and add in the Satellites Optus D2 (NHK English/Russia Today/Press TV etc) and Optus C1 (for AlJazeera International), the third LNB spot for IS8's SelecTV and ERI for its occasional english movies!
