    Default USAL function on Strong

Hi all I've been wanting to find a couple of birds using the USALS function on my strong, and have been trying to wrap my head around it.
I gather in a round about fashion that if I punch in the sat position and my latitude and then hit goto, the motor, will drive the dish to correct position for whatever bird i'm trying to find?

I haven't played with it much for fear of driving the dish to far around and hitting one of the support struts, but whats got me stumped at the moment is, when I select USALS in motorized settings the antenna position comes up as 000.o W / 000.o N, so i presume the W & N would be for a northern hemishere setup and all I would need to do would be substitute West for East & North for South - is this correct?

    thanks heaps for any advice...........
