Default re-activate Irdeto 1 emulation in greywolf midnight

    Hi,

I have used greywolf midnight for ird1 emulation in the past but the computer has been disconnected for about a year so has missed the Aurora keyrolls.

I set this up some time ago and now my memory is very hazy so if someone could help me reactivate the emulator it would really be appreciated.

I have seen the database on the forum for the Aurora keyrolls and I can find my HSN in the database.
Do I then need to change my provider ID to match the one in the database matching my HSN and then enter the PMK from the database into the emulator?
Should I then keep my HMK (20 characters) or use what is listed as the Masterkey in the database (16 characters)?
Or would I be better to just pick a line with a PMK from the database and start fresh?

I would love to know how to do this so I can fix in the future if needed. I've spent the last 2 days reading and hunting and can't seem to put the final pieces together.

Many thanks in advance for any assistance

Keep your HMK and use the EMK to calculate your PMK the HSN Wont have changed and the ProvID Shouldn't have changed as for as I know only Aus/fox did this when they run Ird1 when they got a box and card back from a customer and set it up into someone else's House. lots of people got there keys off of there card got it cut off waited until the HSN showed up on the Log again with a different ProvID and changed it as they reused the cards but could/didn't change the HMK's

no reason for aurora to do this.

contact me via PM if you want some help I will talk you step by step how to calculate a new PMK (you dont need to give me your HMK so please members dont abuse me of wanting to get this from him. I can also just give you a valid PMK to put in to get pictures until the next EMK update when it will give you your real PMK.

P.S. whats this Greywolf Midnight thing your talking about? sounds interesting and I am interested. :-)

    Cheers

Some Aurora cards were reshuffled into new Provider groups, hence some cards have had their Provider ID changed.
