    Default Aurora

    I have an original Subscriber card operating in the internal slot of a Dream DM500-s feeding both a local and external network. I'd like to add Aurora to the package.
    Is it as simple as just adding a Jaycar to the comm port and scanning for channel changes, and if so;
    What mode must the jaycar be in?
    Are there any config settings that need changing on the dream?

    I know the comm port is working because of past flashing that has been done.

    TIA
    Izzy

    Can be done with newcs and two card reader declarations, but aurora needs to be an IR2 version, not IR1.

    Sometimes you just gotta go with what you can at the time and then cross that bridge when 'a little while' comes

    Waez-Kid - Yes 2.08.
    Well I think we've established that it can be done but it doesn't look like anyone is to keen to impart the information as to the 'how' of it all and as it's been implied that there is only 'Little' time left I don't think I'll even bother to go searching for the information.
    There comes a time I suppose when you've got to draw a line in the sand and ask is it worth spending the time and effort to hunt down the info.

    In this case the expedient answer is probably 'No'.

    Ask your friendly seller for other options that don't need so much maintenance.
