What box werks with White #2

Does anyone have shortlist of what boxes dont work with new white #2??

I have DM500 which was on an ip feed for you know what but server crashed for good so I want to use this box for an updated white card.

Can it be done or do I need software additional?

Box was reset back to default factory and flash is current 1.09.

I also heard Strongs are hit and miss with new #2 White......

Do good old Humax work?? Much appreciatean answer

Hi ddirector,

Suggest having a read in the decoder section and in the wafer section and under general satellite there are at least 3 threads detailing what boxes are working with the updated G2 cards. The strongs are the only ones at the moment that are still are a bit hit and miss, but most of the others seem to work. Can't say much about the DM's but would be surprised if they can't be config to work.

The strong is working for at the moment but would really appreciate the DM500 to work as well! As I am new to this I dont understand half of whats explained in the articles read.... The DM500 see's the signal but wont give any picture. Nothing happens when I put the card in the slot and from what I have read, it may need a software upgrade?? From what I understand, the unit is running current flash 1.09?? All I need is some clear instructional help to guide me in upgrading it myself and the software to do it.

I have everything else such as null and crossover etc..

Who can help me??

Hi ddirector,

Unfortunately my knowledge on the DM's is limited. I have researched them and have found them to be fairly advanced, and a tad too complicated for my liking. There are some pro's on this site who know them back to front, but its up to them to offer you some help. Did you buy your box from one of the forum members here, because the 2 main sellers on this site give very good support for these products, and they advertise in the BST thread.

Your first prob and your biggest is the white card wont work in the dreams internal card reader you need to hook a phoenix card reader upto it.

I find humax 5410z works good with whitey...I bought a dreamax 480 duel card box..this worked good for first 2 weeks now it keeps jumpping around every few minutes, its like when a light is turned on and digital tv clicks and get pixals etc on screen. Put card back into humax and its fine...left in for 24 hours thinking it might update etc but no my dreamax is still playing up. It only plays up with whiety. Select ok and win gwn sc card ok too.
what is the prob. please help
