After 11 weeks of arguing with Optus to unlock my Huawei E586 so I could run the woolies sim I have finally manged to get it up and running thanks to everyone here for the advice.
I have been running the woolies sim via samsung galaxay tab (original 7 inch) and PDAnet via wired teether for about 6 months now with no problem, the portable modem gives me the freedom to use it anywhere without having to lug the tablet around.
Can some one help with the APN for Woolworths Mobile

Not sure how long the offer is for, but Caltex Woolworths has buy $30 of fuel and a sim and a recharge for $45 its actually less when you use your reward card, I just throw the sims away and have about 6 recharges now expire dec 2013.My Bad OP has the info
