needs to be connected to your router, multi handset cordless phone is one way, POE adapter to get network to your kitchen is another

This would all depend on your cabling. To explain our household uses voip as our primary outwards service and have all our equipment (all in one Billion) in the back room. Have a phone line to the kitchen specifically for VOIP - as not integrated to preexisting PSTN line. This allows a normal handset/cordless handset to be plugged in.

Although must state had a temporary line hooked up for 4 years until I got it properly installed!

Depending on your setup - how far this needs to go - and how fussy you are having "temporary" wires would be dependent on what you do. It may be easier to plonk a cordless phone base near all your equipment, hence all in same area and leave other phone primarily for PSTN (receiving calls).

WTF does this have to do with voip - then I worked out you were referring to Phils footer.

Heck, if you got through 881L would you be worried about the 475mL?
