Hi Guys,

Has anyone got any feedback about the DIZIPIA DS-3300IR (Embedded Irdeto Cam) box which is a licensed Irdeto one? Does it keep updating and will it work out of the box with the firmware it has or it also needs a firmware update to get it going with the whitey?

I found it selling for $144 online and was wondering if it is worth getting?

I have a relook 400s and using a whitey in a purple schmit cam with " irdeto 3.3" on the back works fine , kik started the whitey etc.

I also have two very old blue irdeto cams freecammed by cwispy which work perfectly well with whitey .

All above work with whitey split by a smart wi and running 3 client cards in a Strong 4658x with uprsated firmware (104p) and a Ditrex twin tuner and the relook 400 .

I have another schmit purple cam a little older with no irdeto designation number as to the firmware inside which will work with the whitey direct but not the smart wi client card . It also freezes pics changing from H to V

Any one know who has the4 purple schmit cams 3.3 ?? I cant remember where I bought it

I've got a Relook400 aswell and have tried my white card in a purple cam without success.
I've read that the Relook is supposed to have issues with Irdeto cams.
Same card in same card in different box works fine.
So I'm interested as to what image you're using and maybe what settings?

Ok my Humax is a IR 5410Z and STB status tells me it is S/W Version AZIR 1.05.03 Update 25 Mar 2002 Loader Version 5.15.12.16003 System ID 0103.0600. Now looking at the Humax site I see listings for IRCI 5400 but no 5410 there is a HIC10306-00 System ID 0016.0000, would that be the firmware I need for the above mentioned 5410z?

the azir 1.05 should work as is , but if you wanted to go to the hic 1.05 then your unit needs to be d-zeded.

the only way to go from

zic / azir / mic to HIC is to dezed the units at which point the l2.08 loader is installed allowing you to install the original hic 1.05 or any other modified firmware

Could be an interesting project but would be quicker and easier to just buy another Strong 5648x
