acer web cam problem
hi all i have a acer exstansa 5220,/cpu 550/2.ghz,and when you try to open inbuilt web cam,it says camer not found,would that be a driver issue?
any help would be greatly app

I have the same model Acer here Dan. I would suggest going in to your control panel , system , device manager and seeing if it is installed in the list there. I am using Vista and it shows under Imaging Devices as Acer Crystal Eye webcam.
I dont know if you are using XP or Vista , but if its a driver issue it shouldnt be hard to fix. If you need help locating the driver , post back here.

yea it says its there in device manager under imaging device just like ya said,ta for that, so how do i find the right drivers if it is a driver prob,i went to the acer web site but could only find the exstansa 540/cpu not the 550,so would the drivers for that model be the same do you think?

i know of 2 other of the 2 ghz models with the same problem, there were some fixes on the net to do with taking pictures out of my docs or the like
