I`m not so sure about the percentage either. Only time will tell. I`ll be putting the dish up either this weekend or next. Will post my results.
Cheers.

C1 really booms in, I have found stuff all difference between 65 and 95cm
What do you think would be these best size dish to receive optus C1 in Brunei Darussalam? Would a 3m dish be sufficient? Or over the top?
Details from satsig.net for location of Brunei.
Latitude = 4.6257, Longitude = 114.3979
Lat = 4 degrees, 37.5 minutes North
Long = 114 degrees, 23.9 minutes East
If you want to point a satellite TV dish at Satellite= 156 East orbit longitude
Dish elevation= 41.7, Azimuth= 95.4 (magnetic compass), Polarisation= -83.1
No issues with a 65 cm in Melbourne, even in bad weather - provided the dish is aligned properly.
A 65cm strong dish is great and served me well for years.
The Elcheapo thin bendy dishes that installers use with crap lnbs on cheap setups are the problem.
Use a quality lnb for good signal.
Interesting trade off. On IS8 a 65cm antenna will give better than 99.95% avail in Melbourne. I've not done the calcs, but a 95cm will probably improve this by half to, say, 99.98%. However, this big increment in availability only translates to a couple of hours per year of additional uptime.
I spent a lot of time doing link budget calcs accross the country - I gave up doing detailed calcs in VIC as a 60cm antenna always gave > 99.95% downlink availability.
