    Default Spdif - Pc/xbox360

    I have connected XBOX 360 optical out to my PC's Optical input (SPDIF in).

    Using Vista, if i go into "sound" I can see the SPDIF in level moving and realtek Sound Manager status "LOCK" which means its receiving audio...

    But I cannot get it to playback like you can with Line In. Sound levels only has Recording volume no playback volume...

    Googling tells me I've just wasted money on the Optical input plate for my PC and the optical cable ...

    Anyone ever tried this before?
