Xbox 360 red,green light issues
Hi, just got my Xbox 360 back from MS(video was freezing 5 mins into a game), warranty was denied stating that the console has been tampered with which I wont deny well anyway now it wont boot up I get 2red,2green alternating lights like a disco strobe light I've tried Google to get some answers with no luck,so wondering if anyone here know what the problem is,got me beat

how do I find out,I had no issues with flashing lights b4 I sent it to MS thats how I got it back
can you get atorch and check in the side of the machine for the number of inductors there ?
they are the donut shaped things covered in copper wire
see if there is two ro three , if ti has two then it is a falcon
also does it have hdmi
No its not falcon model,no hdmi ,weird thing now is when I attach the hdd I get the normal lights but no video/sound got a feeling there might be a problem with the avi port as I've tried different cables ,might have to look into it a bit more
if you have tried different cables , could be the scaler chip , send it back to MS
I asked if it was a falcon as I have had a couple of these with that problem , the fix was the same as the RROD , it seems to be (though I am not 100% sure) that the red/green combo is the RROD combo of lights for the falcons
I'd be sending it back to MS straight away mate , especially since you only just got it back from them
