New white cards only work with origional firmware

Hi All,

I've spent hours looking around and doing my head in and finally sorted it out, so i thought i'd share.

The new white cards only work with the original firmware on the Humax boxes. I previously had ToH 3.4 - Hot 11 firmware and tired diff version numbers with no luck (including the latest).

Once i downgraded to original firmware *BOOM* all channels up. Pain in the a$$ to find it though.

If anyone had this working with the modded firmware, please let me know..Ta

Hate to keep plugging these units but the Supernet 488A is running good on the new cards, unlike some others (at least this is what I've been told...)

Is the the same chipset as say the Arion 3030G?
(STi5105, a flash mem of 2Mb and 16Mb for graphic & sys mem DDR-RAM).

I have 2 humaxes here, one allcamed 5400, one standard 5410, and the whitey would not work in the allcamed humax, but did work in the standard humax. I tried this after I read the first post here. I also have a Nokia 9500 and it also worked in it. I just need to work out how to do a scan . Been a long while since I used it....

is that for OpenBox or copy ????
cheapest shop here in S/Qld is shop in brisbane $150.00 so vettelt5 boxes for $160.00 with free postage is not bad

boy it's a tough decision but I know what i'd be choosing
