    Question 0000h error with ic-prog

Does anyone know a way around the 0000h error with ic-prog?

Ive read up and tried everything possible (except on a win98)

Everything from tick/untick boxes, d/l .sys file, adjusting i/o delay, ticking xp driver and etc etc.

    Even trying different versions!

Im running a do-all and xp

    Any help would be awesome!

    Cheers

FMCard and LMEdit and IC-Prog loading problem with Windows XP/2000

If you get errors when starting FMCard or LMEdit or IC-Prog with Windows XP and /or Windows 98 ME SE

The .ocx files must be installed and registered.

This is done by the following method.

Place,or copy these files into your \windows\system32 directory
    1 comdlg32.ocx
    2 mscomctl.ocx
    3 mscomm32.ocx
    4 richtx32.ocx
    5 tabctl32.ocx

Now on your desktop, click START then RUN and type in this
    command,

    regsvr32.exe filename.ocx

Do this for each of the 5 OCX files.

TIP If any of the ocx files fail to register, make sure that NO different versions of the ocx files are located in the Windows\system directory as opposed to the Windows\system32 directory where the current ocx files are located.
Replace them with the Windows\system32 directory ones, so that they are all the same version

The VB Runtime6 file is also required to make the process work.
Place VB6 Runtime File into Windows/System Folder, and the doubleclick on it to run it, done

VBRun60.exe is a self-extracting executable file that installs the Microsoft Visual Basic run-time files that all applications created with Visual Basic 6.0 need in order to run.

VBRun60.exe installs the following core files, which ship with Visual Basic 6.0:
    ASycFilt.dll, ComCat.dll, MSVBVM60.dll, OLEAut32.dll, OLEPro32.dll,
    STDOLE2.tlb

    VBRun60.exe Filesize: 1043Kb

    Hope this helps

Have a good read through this thread, some very good information in this one

and download ICprog and try prgramming the card using this software proggy, you will see a lot of infrmation about setting up ICprog to run with XP, I originally had major problems with icprog & XP but have sorted it out and have not had any issues since then, see how ya go.
