    Default Ness D24 Installercode reset

Hi, I have a Ness D24 alarm system and need to program new remote controls (RK4). To program I need the Installer Code, which is unknown as the Installer code was changed by the previous owner/installer. Is there anyway to reset the Installer code to the factory setting code without affecting all other setups? Thanks

    Cool

To reprogram remotes there are about 3 different things that need to be done. Get the manual because it has to be the MOST convoluted process of any panel. When you have the manual you will see that getting into program mode is very easy (no code needed)

Thanks Watchdog. I have both user's manual and Installation & Programming manual. The Ins & Programming manual says Installer code is needed to performs radio key (remote control) programming.

Yes but you can get into programming then set your own installer code. Look at the book.

Many thanks to all. One more question, if power down panel and power back up, would this reset all existing settings to factory default?
