Stung by virus

I got caught with one yesterday...malware really.

Got an email with an attached zipped attachment saying it was an itunes receipt.

Let Microsoft security essentials look at it, as well as Malware bytes, and both reported it as ok.

Soon as I opened it up, the malware invaded, telling me I had 311 infections etc etc.

It wouldn't let me open up outlook or any files, disabled all security / virus programs etc

Went into safe mode, ran malware bytes again and it fixed it.

Since have updated malwarebytes to latest update ( mine was 36 days old) and all is well.

So warn the kids if you have some going for iTunes, not to open a receipt in pdf. format.

Just jailbreak your ipod/iphone and then you'll never get Itunes receipt.
