Default Boot problems with XP Media Center

    Hi All,
Just loaded a legal clean copy of XP Media Center on my daughter's PC.
It is having problems booting without a boot CD in the CD drive.
I have tried to get into the BIOS to see the boot sequence and to make sure it set to boot up on the HDD. However I am unable to get into the BIOS. I try to hit the "esc" key to get in but this does not work.

    Any ideas?

Finally manged to get into the BIOS by luck only. I think it was F2.
I set up to boot first via HDD, then DVD.
    But on reboot, same problem.

Just got it going. In BIOS, although I had indicated boot on HDD.
When I went into an area for HDD it was "disabled" When I changed this it was all OK.
Unusual that I would get this on fresh install.
    Thanks for your help anyway
