    Default Gspot alternative ?

    I have a 480P x264 mkv that i tried to open in gpsot so i could get the encoding settings as its plays perfectly on my old xbox but since the latest gspot is 4 years old i guess its not able to detect what the file is, all i get is unknown file etc ?

    Use media info. I tested it on a few MKV's and it worked.

    I run the latest version of Gspot v2.7a and get the same result with any MKV file

    Here I was going gee this is going to be interesting. Turns out the older version is not as good as the latest version. So if you have a version older than 1970 then its time to upgrade for the later version hopefully around 1980- 1985.

    shouldnt that be 1990-1995
