    Default Gamma Win Explorer settings.

    Can someone please inform me on the correct config settings (ie: baud, parity etc) for win wxplorer. Playing around with a new blank atmel
    at90sc7272 and TC but but the atr seems incorrect and cannot load .xvb file onto it.

    ATR: 12 BB F7 F3 AE

    regards
    Mal..

    Found the correct baud rates etc..
    Now gives me an ATR: 3B B2 11 00 10 80 00 02 which is AT88SC0204C.

    I was told its now locked as a sellers card and have to laod the os onto it but how to do that, f***k knows..

    I'll Keep trying...

    So are you saying you started off with a AT90SC7272 and then wrote some script to it and now ended up with an ATR of a AT88SC0204?
    What script did you use?

    I found these comand lines while checking the Irdeto-Hack files that were posted:
    const unsigned char abGammaATR[] = {0x3B, 0x9F, 0x21, 0x0E, 0x47, 0x41, 0x4D, 0x4D, 0x41, 0x43, 0x41, 0x52, 0x44, 0x20, 0x56, 0x20, 0x31, 0x2E, 0x31, 0x9D}
    const unsigned char abATR[] = {0x3B, 0x9F, 0x21, 0x0E, 0x49, 0x52, 0x44, 0x45, 0x54, 0x4F, 0x20, 0x41, 0x43, 0x53, 0x20, 0x56, 0x34, 0x2E, 0x31, 0x9D};
    const unsigned char abAlternateATR[] = {0x3B, 0xB2, 0x11, 0x00, 0x10, 0x80, 0x00, 0x02}; // AT88SC0204C (Atmel memory card)
    I thought the last one may help in some way.

    Weirdo, I never saw atsc72172sc atr reply, I was trying to load everyting under the sun, (all the os update crap I have anyway) gs-loader, sataid os update etc. Then ran win explorer and gave an an atr of 3B B2 11 00 10 80 00 02. I emailed the mob i purchsed the card which i believed to be at90sc7272 but was not getting the correct response, and he replied that its now been locked and is a sellers card but he had no idea how to program it. I assume he was talkin shit!!!

    Anyway, the funny thing is when I ran gs_loader, I didnt get any rejection from the card. Tried various files and noticed at the bottom of the program, a blue line that moving accross from left to right. None of them actually moved all the way and many stoped before the end but the file that says "keep this private not for public release.txt" gave me a reply update completed. but i still get the same ATR 3B B2 11 00 10 80 00 02 which i beleive has not programed anything on there....

    Its easy to buy a sellers card and call it quits, but this little white c--k sucking card is not going to beat me. Ive vested too much time on this p-rick...

    Anyway
    Regards
    Mal...

    I know what you mean Mal.
    It's easy to lose track of what you programmed (succesfully or not) to your card.
    But like aaptaapt says you're probably on the right track.
    Keep up the good work

    I think I might have to invest in a CAS3 and see how that goes. Reading on the atmel datasheet, refers to programing at 1Mhz...

    I have a CAS3 Mal, but the only options are 3.579 MHz, 3.68 MHz, 4.00 MHz and 6.00 MHz in either Phoenix or Smartmouse.

    Does anyone have all the correct win explorer settings to check the atr on a gamma?
    Im getting some really weird replies from the card.
    When programmed with an old gam file, my strong recognises it as irdeto 4.1.
    After a clean card the atr does not read as other posted atrs in win explorer.
    Must be my settings, as when i change them, the atr changes.
