The ruling by the ECJ could have major implications for how the Premier League sell their broadcast rights both in Britain and Europe

    very interesting

I thought the whole side issue was that the Premiere League don't show the 3pm game on TV in the UK, to encourage people to go to the grounds?? Much like the AFL did until now (sort of)

This ruling what I understand of it reminds me of the early days of 27Mhz CB where a retailer could advertise and sell a CB to anyone BUT unless you had a licence you wern't allowed to buy or operate it !!
There are many grey area anomalies in all Laws created by technology literaly leaping ahead faster than Laws can be formulated to cover it.
VAST is an example of a 'New' usage of current terchnology being excessively governed but its Terrestial version is basicaly 'Open Usage'.
I wonder if the day will come when someone with either deep pockets or a group decides to challenge its control as this Publady did??
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!
