xk3y is an awesome bit of kit.. works with everything and allows to run backups off a usb hdd.. though is expensive.
Hi all - doing some research !
Considering getting a 360 - and modifying it purely for the obvious reasons.
A key type dongle that runs a external usb drive seems to be the best idea -
I want it to play games that i backup or find off a usb hard drive , regardless of region etc.
The above mentioned xk3y etc can do this ?! Thoughts ?

or look for a jtag xbox or jtabbable xbox from some of the reputable people on this forum
or even a console with a flashed dvd drive ie one that has been flashed with LT2.0
Thanks for the replies - are these options region free ?
Also how about integrating rom emulation into the mix - another interface or ?
Thanks :0)
Im not sure about the xkey etc, but sounds like you need a jtag console,
They allow all regions, Emulators etc, and running games/DLC/Arcade games regardless of where you "find" them off a hdd.
xKey is fair good though. if you just want to play isos off a HDD, not sure if it does all regions though, id guess it would.
btw you could also look at the Wasabi 360 ultra. Competitor to the xkey. though both are very new product you might be better waiting of the new CPU Glitch Mods.
