    Default roll-over drop menu help

Hi just a noob at this web stuff can someone tell me how to do a simple roll over, drop menu on like a top nav bar if you know what I mean.

for example like ninemsm the top says

News Sports Money Entertainment Lifestyle Travel etc etc etc

and when the mouse rolls over you get a sub listing of (eg.) News
    Breaking news
    etc
    etc

    any help would be great
