Xbox 360 HD problem please advise

Hi guyz i have a 360 and the HD died so i took it apart and unpluged it now i can run games but it resets sometimes ? i have no idea why ? can i install another drive to fix it or is there soemthing i can do to stop it reseting itself ?
anyone had this problem ?

did you try and take the hdd off the 360 and playing games with it removed to see what it does?

that would be the best thing to do. play a game on the 360 without the hdd attached. then see if the console keeps resetting itself.

Hi yes its resets as well ?

It sounds like you have a faulty 360. Maybe heat related issues. Ring microsoft and claim warranty. I think they have extended the warranty due to this.
