    Default Strong 4653X

Seem to be having problems with my Strong 4653x.

Every week on a Wednesday @ 10am it goes "scrambled channel".

So to fix it I have to load 1.52P firmware. Wait for channels to load, then go back to 1.17 for a stable picture.

Now it has to be the box. Its not accepting the updates (whatever they are called (HSN....) meh).

Is there a way to fix this problem permanently, by either using a different/better firmware version.

    Cheers.

Sometimes if you go back in firmware you have to use the "fixer" after you load the previous firmware.

you can go 1.17 to 1.52p and back without the fix
but you can load the 1.12 african firmware from the strong site
and card will update and kickstart

i notice today in the strong website the 4653x firmware 1.17 is dated 20/5/2008 where as the other one before that was dated 16/04/2008 does this mean it its been fixed and will update now ? for example did anybody lose channels today if they had updated their firmware from 20/05/2008
