Xbox slim no power problem - Any help please?

Hi All,

Got an xbox 360 slim here with no signs of any power or lights at all other than the power supply which tests perfectly, There are no signs of life at all on the console, No lights, no sound, no picture - zilch happens when the on/off button is pressed. Done a little research which could point to the RF module being faulty but would like some help as to whether anyone else has come across the same problem and if they had a solution before I go further. The console has not been opened as yet.

I think so Hugh, Console doesnt belong to me but the bloke that owns it says that he has only had it 6 months, Hence I am hesitant to open it or go much further with if its under warranty still. Not sure if he still has the receipt or not but thought I would ask if the power issue is a common problem here before I get too excited with it - Thanks
