The Clipsal Flush in Poly or Carbon Fibre are well with in your budget
They also sell a proper enclosed outdoor speaker.

Both very affordable.... and great sound for the outdoors.

The speakers sold by Clipsal will also be found elsewhere, as they are just a generic Chinese thing... But i am happy with my flush fibre models.... been in the eves for 5 years, no rust and still work fine

I didnt think water could get under the eaves, possibly use standard ones with a dust cover to stop the roof dust getting onto them, just a thought considering the speaker cover would also protect them from water splash.

    Maybe im missing something here....

I have see auto speakers for car doors that are water proof in case water drips down through the door cavity.

    Hahahahah, have another coffee mate

Yes.... water doesn't get in the eves.... And you idea of installing a cover is a brilliant one!!!

I meant.... Flush models that cut and fit into your eves... and "box" style enclosed speakers.
    Clipsal sell both types.
