Question Relook 400, cant detect in PC

    Hi Guys,

i have this relook 400 working, i put it in cupboard since bought ultra plus HD.

today i took this out to put it another room, it boots and then sits on "USB UPGRADE" blue light blinks for few mins and thats it.

i installed Flash tool 1.0.2 restarted PC, but PC is not ready to detect this box at all.

i have tried one pc with windows vista 32 bit
2 other pcs with win 7 64 bit but no luck at all.

i have also tried to remove hdd but no difference.

also tried 3 different USB cables, and different USB ports on all three pcs, but no luck.

any idea whats missing here, thanks.

is there a work around to skip this "USB UPGRADE" bit and just load everything the way it was working before???

I see you have asked the same question on denktenk. The easiest way to diagnose the issue is buy connecting to the serial port. It sounds like you may have an issue either with the hard disk or the boot loader.

You may be able to get going by a reflash:

Follow ori's instructions, & re-install just the bootloader. If that doesn't help, re-install the complete image. After that, your only option is to connect to the serial port & debug.

i'm organizing a null modem serial cable over the weekend to try ref lashing it with that instead of USB. USB is not responding at all no matter what i do.

i have that instructions sheet with me to follow. on startup it shows linux screen on tv with boot loader information, but does not go any further from there.
