    Default 8776 wont grab bouquets

The box says it has high signal and quality, yet it just sits forever and doesn't grab any bouquets. Does anyone know what is causing this or if there is a fix.

Do you have the LNB set correctly?
    or
Has the EEprom been FF'd and you've just forced an OTA update?

thanks for the quick reply's guys. yeah tried restore defaults. no good. Yeah LNB is set right, got other 8776's that are working fine. it just sits forever on that screen. Got an eeprom that has worked perfectly on the same type of 8776, that is what i used. Could the item that the sat cable plugs into be faulty, is that a common item to die. I hate to see this thing sitting doing nothing particularly since the jtag is in place.

Did you remember to remove the Jumper from JB12?

    Hi eeprommemory,
I think my 8776 is a 2G, it has PCB05500-002G printed near the card socket. Its working fine. Is there a common problem with the 2G?.
It did develop a demodulator problem a while back but fixed ok.

I don't know what to do with that info eeprommemory, but i've been using the same U8 that is working on other 2B boxes. I don't think that is the issue. Any other ideas?
