Default basic of the basics... sim card cloning... anyone in sydney doing it?

just needing to have a card cloned...

Basically what im trying to do is have the 2 fones with the one Sim and more importantly i want to recieve all text messages to both phones..

Obviously messages sent from each respective handset wont be visible on the other handset, .. but i dunno if this is possible

If someone were to send a text message to THAT particular number, would the message be sent to BOTH phones??

I also assume that if it rings, that both phones would ring...??

Hi padre, Pretty sure mate that the networks won't let you have 2 sims with same number on there, something i recently done was get voip, then get simultaneous ringing feature turned on. The home phone and the 2 mobiles ring until one picks up. Not to sure if this helps with what you want.

Most of the current sim cards can't be cloned & when we did it with the older ones it caused a few problems. I am aware of the networks cutting off the sim/sims in question as it can cause them problems as well. We found that the phone that made the last call was the only one to ring and any sms's went only to the phone that didn't make the last call.
I hope that's of some help.

Is this voip setup working with your wireless network?

You can somewhat do this, but you will cannot have both phones on at the same time, trying to conenct to the network or both will be disallowed.

Make them pay for it, simple.

That'll put a stop to them downloading kylie minogue ringtones.

Speak to your provider, they can block those incomings for you.

Do you not have access to the phones? Some sim messages can be undeleted.
    What model phones are they?

sorry m8, only in the movies, i did it a while back, it doesnt work with nextg or vodaphone and i cant remember if 3g can be copied which kinda limits the posabilities now, i had no problems cloning standard gsm sims but anything else cant be copied with current apps for doing the job, and it was only in the last 6 months i played with it. Basicly what happens when u have 2 phones with the same sim in it, the last phone to register on the the network or send anything over the network will become the primary device, the other wont do anything untill u call out on it, in which case it will then become the primary device. i even made a call with 1 phone, then while in that call made a call with the cloned 1. the result was that the call was dropped from the origional phone mid convo and the cloned 1 made a successfull call. so even if you do manage to find something to copy the later sim cards, you will still be stuck with only 1 phone able to do anything at any given time

You will need a sim card reader.
Or there are standalone devices available that you just put the sim card in, available in australia for about 170+
