Worldvu 600/Dt600/ Openbox

Hi Guys,

Have never upgraded firmware before is there a site thats details how you go about it?

I have a Worldvu 600 and have been given a card to play with but have realised that my box wont AU. I have a feeling its got to do with the firmware so was hoping to upgrade?

Try this

go to menu.
conditional access.
card reader setting.
card system - should be "Irdeto"
( if u got " Card in standby" it should be "On")

Original settings were as you described. I 'm thinking its a firmware issue. I'm running 4.99 but there upto version 5.31 now.

Hmmm... strange I've also got a Worldvu 600 with the 4.99 firmware and have no problems updating beautifully. The latest firmware I've seen is 5.33 from link below and look for Openbox x-810 (same box)



If you do find the steps how to update firmware please post here. Might need it in future.

I have tried to download but the files are incomplete, will keep trying.

Yes my g2 is updating fine.

Here is the loader and two firmwares a I saved awhile back. Have not tried them as I'm having no problems, let me know how you go.

Sorry I haven't got instructions. What i do know you need a null modem cable and just by looking at the loader you select send,pick the firmware and make sure the stb in the menu is set to recieve
