I am also looking for one of these and would be interested in any results.
I have been looking for a real card that will play the 3D 3DS games and everywhere and everybody I ask says NO LOL
But for one guy whom just returned from Sydney and he said he just saw one that works at a market 5 days ago
Do you think this guy was just trying to scam my friend or what
And just one other thing can I upgrade a R4i v1.4 to work on a 3DS machine, i understand it wont play 3D games but could i get it to work to play the normal games
Any help would be great
Cheers
When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all

There isn't any.
It will work in a 3DS, but only in DS mode and you can only usually update the more expensive cards like the M3i Zero, Supercard DSi One, Supercard DSTwo, iEdge etc.
R4's are usually cheaply made, poorly supported and don't have a updatable boot loader.

I see they are on sale now for about $70 ,now has anyone ripped a 3D game yet ?
plenty 3d games in newsgroups
There are no flash cards that are able to play 3DS games. However, there is a flashcard that works on the 3DS but only plays DS games. Maybe when the 2DS comes out, there will be a flash card that plays 3DS games...
Might be bullshit, but check here
Might not be worth the money. If it were me I would just download an Emulator on my phone or tablet which would still have touch controls.
There's a few options as to what happened. the first is that your friend might be misunderstanding you and instead saw an R4 card that works on 3DS but can play DS games (not 3DS). The other option is that your friend saw one of the newer 3DS flash cards that actually plays 3DS games, but has a capacity of only one game at a time and costs a large amount of money. Either way, there is no common and feasible 3DS flash cards on the market, so if your friend claims he saw a multi-game 3DS flashcard, I'm pretty sure he's lying.
