Default Werid problem after flashing Benq

Hey guys, got a bit of a weird on here.

Got a mates Benq drive the other day and flashed it just like I have done with the many other drives I have done.

I used iXtreme 1.41 12x and it flashed no worries.

The problem is it won't read any games now be they backups or originals, but it will still read DVD movies no probs.

I tried reflashing again with 1.4 but had the same probs.

    Any suggestions?

I know this might sound very basic but are you sure your using the right key ?

Ive done a few and i have used the wrong Orig.bin once or twice and that was the result i got.

    Just a thought

I had the same symptoms with a drive with either no key or wrong key (just a replacement drive i bought of ebay to fault find the below)..

and also when i use the sata cable from the Blaster 360 kits (mustn't be standard sata).. (took me a while to figure out that one)

    Hello Smithy,

Yeah it has been a while, not much spare time recently.
Hard enough to get game time thesedays let alone time to keep up to date with developments.

    Regards

    Wad

Have seen it happen b4 with correct key....guess something went wrong in the flash....but I had symptons like black screen or an error.

What happens when you try loading a game.."unplayeable disk" or the white/green 360 screen asking u to put in correct format game?

Sounds like the key didnt transfer correctly....just like sticking a drive from another 360...DVD's will work but not games(orig or backup) .
