Default AM2 6000+ CPU Cooler Probs

    I got the AM2 6000+ CPU

The upgrade went smoothly, But the Stock CPU cooler doesn't report the fan speed to the bios, Speedfan or Everest. But its functioning normally. Idle temp is 26c, Max temp 55c, fan is damm loud at max temps but idle temps your can't hear it. So the fan must be working properly.
Why isn't it reporting the temps, I've reseated the plug still no go. The old 4800+ Cooler reports the fan speeds fine.

    Any ideas, is it normal?

    Thanks

    Done all that..

Still the same...I think it might have a dud sensor..

I'm thinking of getting a Zalman soon anyway...

The Stock seems to be working perfectly, just won't display fan speed.
