    Look for 1132X

Older the better, look at stores with slow moving stock then price match job hifi etc.
As most jb hifi/Harvey Normans have really new stock due to the sales they've been running.

I got some lot 1129x in the other day to sell pre-modded and they were all good.

You do also get the occasional console that will be unmodable even if it is before the cut off date as well, this is rare but it does happen.

I got a kinect bundle from big W that has a build date of 29/11/2010 ! I only put this on layby in September - lot no. is 11049. I also read that the corona model has a lower power input that the trinity (moddable) versions.

Check the black sticker on the back of your 360, it'll read the amount the console requires, if it's 10.83A you have a Trinity/Valhalla revision which leaves your chances very high to RGH/DVD mod/xk3y unless you have a Hitachi slim drive...

July 2011 consoles that I've gone through so far all seem to be capable of all those mentioned above, including one of my very own.

Corona revisions with the 9.86A reading (generally what you'll get at HN/JB/Joyce Myne) dated sometime after August 2011 I believe will mean no more RGH. As there is no longer a HANA Chip, MS have integrated into the southbridge, the RGH relied on HANA for timing...

As for the drives currently in these (Liteon DG-16D5S), c4eva has said he'll look into these drives at a later point as the LT3.0+ is more important right now.

If you can RGH it then CFW for the drive is a bonus but not required, i was lucky enough to swap a jtagged zephyr for a new slim that has a november 2011 date but has a liteon drive and a hana chip - chassis stamp says 2010 though.

Picked up a slim with a mfr date 2011/06/18
    Lot number 1126x
I thought I would be right with these numbers but
Opened the box and the power supply is a 9.6 a so I guess it's a corona?

Check the amp rating on the back of the console

    Should be 10.83A

Do you think M$ has wised up and is fiddling the numbers?

I got them from Harvey Norman so "be careful out there"
Will open one up tomorrow when I finish work and have a look.

Stranger things have happened, but look to see what DVD drive the console houses, if the drives are 16D4S models then there's still hope.

Very unlikely that an October Corona revision would house a Lite-on 16d4s drive that can have it's key extracted for cfw or an xk3y.
