    Default Ultraplus Internettv+

After trawling a few forums, I managed to find a couple of iptv url files for the Ultraplus new internettv+ function.

Unfortunatly many of them appear to be Russian tv and some audio only and using Russian text fonts as the description, a bit of a lottery, some work well some dont.

It also depends on your internet speed and traffic routing.

A few of them cause the IPTV function to lock requiring the box to be turned off then back on.

Also you need to be patient as they often take a while to start.

Procedure is, unzip the file attached and copy to a usb stick. Load the internettv+ menu and plug in the stick it should ask if you wish to add internet tv urls.

Then move up and down through the list and click ok and then wait and see what plays. Then report back here!

One last thing there appears to be a limit of only 100 URLS.

I downloaded your URL files to the UltraPlus 9200, counting CNET I think that gave me a total of 77, I played about 15 they all appeared to work OK, the ones that were marked in HD started and stopped due to the Internet speed. One cause the UltraPlus to lock up this URL was called the poker channel, after resetting the box. I deleted poker channel, NHK along with RT worked well

I have an editor for it now but its all written in Russian.

The function is frustrating it just doesnt like the majority of urls.

mms:// which is used for most streaming isn't supported.

anyway here is a 2nd channel list. Again mostly Russian

How do you get the channels lists as a file to download to STB, Craig?
Here's a site with a ton of channels but what do you type in?

If anyone has some .m3u playlists add them here and I will convert / merge into a channel package.

I have a Euro / English channel pack ready to upload later.

As for NASA try and find decent links for it..

    This sounds awesome. Thanks Craig!

Any ideas how to get rid of all those next-to-useless Russian url's in one hit? Or do they really have to be done one by one?

In terms of the Euro/English package you're working on, does it happen to include Al Jaz English?

    Cheers.

If you know how to use FTP login to the Ultraplus you can go in var/freetvplus and replace the internettv.feed file.

otherwise yellow button then arrow up then hit ok will delete them 1 by one.

Unfortunatly, many of these channels have no audio. I believe its to do with the Ultraplus audio codec support rather than the streams.

Yes Al Jazeera is included but its one of the ones without Audio.

The supplier will be getting a copy of the file to fwd back to the factory to see if they can improve the audio support.

    Euro Channel Package is attached.

Release 21-12-11 Apsattv.com Euro Channel package release.

All links as found in google. Use at your risk.

    To install

FTP the file internettv.feed to var/freetvplus folder and replace existing.

or copy url_list.txt to usb stick then load InternetTV+ and insert, ADD channels when prompted.

For this feature to work, the stream must be encoded using one of the following codecs (flash is not supported):
    Video : MP1V, MP2V, MPEG4P2(MP4), H.264, VC1
    Audio : MP1A, MP2A, MP3A, AC3, AAC, PCM

The streaming server must be FMS or WWZA broadcasting using the RTMP/RTMPT protocol.

A lot of factors can affect the quality, but normaly what you see on your pc is what you will see on the box.

The software is still very bugy and unstable. But at least its a start. Entering unsupported urls will crash the box. dead links also seam to cause it to crash.

I was planning to setup a sydney cdn with FTA channels, but since the box supports usb DVBT tuners, theres not point at the moment.

If anyone is interested to develop this further, PM ME.

BTW this is a smaple video @ 1.5mbps hosted on a US network. can be used as a benchmark. rtmp://173.224.215.71/vod/t.mp4

Perhaps your conection isn't up to it. They pretty much all work though the sound doesnt work on many of them.

I will upload some more later.

Mine recognised most of them, but only video played, no audio. I think about 5 played fine (video and audio) that I was interested in. Video quality leaves much to be desired, but at least it's a start and can only improve from here. Didn't try foreign ones like Rai.

Keen to see what else you may have Mr. Craig...

The ones I loaded from you the other day are ok, (well 5 of them anyway) just nothing in the latest batch.
    I'll try again.

Thanks for the work you've done though

    Russian 61 channel pack

Most of these work well. Some work VERY well ( I was watching Ice Hockey on one), I think about 4 didn't work at all (gave error). Theres a few off one particular server that breakup a lot. But everyones internet is different, people may have better routing to those servers and may work perfectly for some.

I did not make this package it came off a Russian Forum.

    Thanks Craig,

Before I download these, just want to check whether any (or many) are in English?

Thanks for all the hard work that you've put in this year with appsatv.com, Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Huge thanks also to Leroy, who has been no-end of help sorting out my Ultraplus issues! Merry Christmas to you as well bro.

They are Russian channels, I can't say if any have English some of the music channels might, the point is its all kind of experimental.

I have bit of time to spend on it over the holidays. I will put together some sort of English pack.

I can't get these to download to STB. Is it the 2 files that I should be extracting? Internettv.feed + skywaytv

    Its pretty simple enough.

Its just a zip file, inside are 2 other files the internettv.feed file and a txt file listing the channels.

If you rename the .feed file url_list.txt and copy it to a usb stick then insert it while in the internettv+ menu it should ask to add the URLS.

You don't need to copy the txt file its just list showing which channels are included
