    Exclamation NAVCORE 9.051 - for all GO x10, x20 & x30 models

Thanks goes to bmwdriver for this 9.051 navcore. It is already pre-patched.

This navcore is recommended for all TomTom GO x10, x20 and x30 models, but may also work on other devices with 64Mb RAM. I am currently using this on my GO 730 and I highly recommend it!

First do a complete backup of your device in Windows Explorer. Next, extract the downloaded file, then copy across all the files onto the device or the SD card, overwriting any common files.

    Download link:

    (153.2 MB)

    From bmwdriver:

    It is based on:

    NC 9.051 (XXL (2010) / 540S World Edition; Birthday= 02 March 2010)
and some files of "v1.0.0-pre6 of Navcore9-Mireille-Edition (ME)"

I patched the ttsystem to get maximum RAM available (inspired by DSA).

    This is what you get:

    - NC9, animated x50 GUI, x40 menu, eco routes, QWERTY keyboard, 3panel status bar
    - brightness control by lightsensor
    - Sound volume linked to speed
    - Jack Plug and USB RDS-TMC possible
    - spoken traffic informations
    - speaker preferences -> play instructions to internal loudspeaker, bluetooth-hifi-device, line-out and fm transmitter possible
    - speaker preferences -> play music to internal loudspeaker, bluetooth-hifi-device, line-out and fm transmitter possible
    - "Navigate to spoken address" via quick menu (cspeech enabled map is required)
    - Music and Media with Jukebox, Document reader, iPad control, Photo gallery
    - Help me, Mobile phone, TT services, Map share, ALG and IQ routes, auto 2D + 3D zoom
    - screenshot by dipping on upper left corner
    - map colors plugin schemes Basilia_Day and _Night
    - LoquendoTTS v7 (including German + EnglishUK voice)
    - available RAM ~ 20 MB

No harm in trying, although it does have a slower processor (266 MHz) than the GO models (400 MHz).

Is this the latest working Navcore for this devices? If anything latest than this exists, any links for trying that?

I upgraded my navcore to 9.051 from this post and thanks Lemonfish as he recommended this navcore. Made a 1000 Km trip on last holidays. Its working like a treat. It's completely changed the look and operations of my GO720. So want to try more latest version, if you guys recommend it.

    Any help much appreciated!!

Same error here on the XXL 540 with the factory Navcore 9.061 patched with fastactivate. It gives the error message: "Problem with map You cannot use this map on this device: Australia:452" even on the original map installed on the device...

What updates is Home offering? If they are mapshare updates, then sure, go for it.

Thanks for letting me know. Yes, megaupload has been shut down... just checked... it's all over the news.

I should have 2 new download links in just over an hour or so.

This 9.051 navcore has a different look and more features than the one you mentioned, so it's definitely worth downloading and trying out.

I've been using this Navcore on my 720 and 730 for a few months now, and as above, by far the best around, pretty much works flawlessly.

However, I wonder if there's a fix or if I'm doing it wrong:
The zooming (+/-) in either top corners.
The (-) works fine in the top right
But the (+) in the top left will not zoom back to standard view.
It just takes screen shots instead. The only way to correct it is to select 'auto zooming' on 2D and 3D and after a few seconds its back to normal.

Is there a fix or is it just missing the fuction because of the screen shot feature that oneone would 'ever' use?

Yes, there is a simple fix to disable the screen shot function. Just remove or rename the folder "screen".
