    Default 1390 nuvi acting weird

Hi all been a long time away I have updated to the new oz maps thanks for the d/l it went easy like every other time I have updated. ,, jcv etc. now when I turn it on it zooms right out and stays there until I reach 93km/h then it zooms in to street view while cruising above that speed, as I slow down to 74kph it then zooms right back out.. no I didnt back it up stupid me.. I have tried everything I can think of copied the old maps back the old 3d image nada,, its like there is a secret switch, damned if I can find it anyone??
Merry Christmas to you you all

It's doing the opposite of what it is supposed to do, it should zoom in when you slow down.

Have you tried the manual zoom buttons on the right of the screen, possibly zooming in while stopped might reset the auto zoom?

I've downloaded the .img & JCV from my post & it works as per usual.

My NUVI is a 1490t, have a backup copy of all .system files, cant see anything there that would be affecting auto zoom.

Just tried something, if I enter into Pedestrian mode it zooms out to 300m view. Maybe you accidently changed your navigation mode, check to see if your in automobile mode.

I think there was a firmware update that fixes the reboot on start up problem for some NUVI's.

Have you tried a software update,or a reload using webupdater ? I've also found that sometimes you need to do the update twice (do a forced install of the same version ) otherwise you get issues like slow satellite lock etc.
