Comet Lovejoy

I haven't seen it yet, going to have to make a try for it early tomorrow morning. In other people's photos it looks quite a sight with long tail.

Look for it low in the south east in the morning twilight around 3 - 4am. It will fade quickly so every day counts.

First opportunity to see it this boxing day morning and apparently it has faded rapidly. The tail was very long but quite diffuse, similar in brightness to the milky way.

I just poked my camera out the window for these shots. There's a meteor to the right in the first one, the comet being the long light beam on the left.
