Hey Guys,
Happy New Year!.
I need some info on setting up a VOIP system (or if you know of any software that does these kind of things) that agents can use to dial out so it will be mainly used for outbound calls.
It needs to be able to record calls and automatically dial the numbers without the agent having to actually dial the number so if a free agent is available the system will dial & push the call to them.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

put in a pabx with pri and a asterix dialler you will have guarantee voice quality and using an optus fix price plan no suprise phone bills.
voip how much is a quality adsl service worth if you want to skim how many hangups will you be getting if you are asking someone for money and only hearing every second word.
Not to mention, the obligatory pause while you wait for them to talk after you finished.... VOIP (usually from Malasia or India).
Had one the other day, luckily as the boss came in the room (Business boss, not home boss), and I said to him, "Wanna switch phone carriers ?", he said "Nope".
"Yep, you there ?.... GO AWAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and hung up, Boss just laughed.
Don't listen to these guys, they obviously have NO IDEA on this subject!
This is 2012 not 1990 guys, why do you think the largest Voip providor has over 70000 customers, and why do you think every DSL providor (apart from telstra) provides a VoIP account with your DSL plan (even at an extra cost).
The main emphasis with using VoIP is your internet connection, the faster the upload speed and the lower ping rate the better the quality,
There are a few ways to test your connection to see if it is suitable for VoIP calls.
I would suggest a dedicated ADSL (SHDSL) connection if you are going to use VoIP. 512/512 MIN
Choose a decent providor, Faktortel, Engin.
You can always go with a Telstra capped $89 plan, no extra costs above that unless you ring mobiles.
Install a GSM gateway for mobile calls (one of each sim for each providor means no cost calls).
nb.The quality of the calls coming from overseas has a direct relation to bad call quality due to latency. Ie High ping rate.
I hope this helps.
